| I'd like to remind everyone this one time that I will not be sending out reminders during 1901 and that if you do not send me your orders on time you will be replaced. The last set of orders you send me for a turn will be the set I use. | ||
| Normally, the deadlines will be weekly (7 days). However, in 1901 they will be a minimum of 10 days. That makes the first deadline Thursday, November 16, 2000 at 8:00 PM CT(US) or Thursday, November 17, 2000 at 2:00 AM (GMT). As it happens, this is a play date for the play my son is currently in. It may be necessary to change this date. If that becomes the case I will notify all you this weekend. | ||

| The preference lists I received are shown above. I prefer to give as many players their first choice as possible. I treat prefence lists as a puzzle and attempt to optimize them as fairly as I can. | ||
| First Sanford and Matt provided no preference lists, so they view all countries as equal and would take any of them as thier first choice. They will be awarded the remaining countries alphabetically matching the same order as their name and the courtries name. The remaining five selected countries: Mondor, Eriador, Dwarves, Rhovanion and Gondor appeared at least once in the first three choices and Rohan and Isengard did not appear above the first four choices. Hence, Matt will be assigned Isengrad and Sanford will be assigned Rohan. | ||
| Only Yoav picked Gondor in the first three choices. So, Yoav will be assigned Gondor. | ||
| A tie breaking system is needed here to decide the rest. Hence, at the first mismatch in preference lists. The player with the first alphabetical choice will receive their first choice. | ||
| Tom and Sean picked the same first two choices. But, Dwarves comes before Mordor in their third choice so Sean will be assigned Eriador and Tom will be assigned Rhovanion. | ||
| Joe and Tym picked the same first four choices. But, Gondor comes before Isengrad in their fifth choice so Joe will be assigned Mordor and Tym will be assigned Dwarves Union. | ||
